Common questions

Is this a legal contract?+

It's example wording to help you write your own. Consumer contract, automatic-renewal and cancellation rules differ by US state and Canadian province. Have a lawyer licensed where you work review it before you use it.

Why is there no late-fee or interest clause?+

By design. Our tools don't include late fees, interest or financing. The template says what happens if a payment fails: plan visits pause until it's sorted.

Do I have to remind customers before an automatic renewal?+

Some states and provinces require clear disclosure and reminders for automatic renewals. The template includes a reminder period you set. Check the rules where you work.

Is anything I type stored?+

No. The agreement is built in your browser. If you unlock the full version we store your email, the tool and the trade you picked.
