Raise prices without guessing.
A rise of r% keeps the same revenue as long as fewer than r ÷ (1 + r) of your clients leave. For a 10% rise that's about 9.1% of clients. Put in your own numbers to see your break-even, then draft the letter.

Common questions
How is the break-even worked out?+
If you raise prices by r (for example 0.10 for 10%), each client who stays pays (1 + r) times as much. Revenue stays the same if the share who leave is r ÷ (1 + r). With your cost per visit we also work out the margin break-even: the share you could lose and keep the same gross margin.
Where does the inflation figure come from?+
The U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics Consumer Price Index for All Urban Consumers (CPI-U, series CUUR0000SA0, not seasonally adjusted). We compare the month you pick with the latest month we've loaded. It's general inflation, not your costs.
How many clients will leave?+
We don't know, and we don't publish a typical rate because we haven't found one we trust. Use your own history and test a few rates in the what-if table.
How much notice should I give?+
At least one full billing cycle is a sensible minimum, and more for annual plans. Your agreements may also say how much notice you must give: check them.
Is anything stored?+
No. Everything runs in your browser. If you unlock the full version we store your email and simple counts (client count, rise %).

Estimates only
All results are estimates based only on the inputs you enter. They are not a forecast or professional advice. CPI is a general US inflation measure and may not match your costs. The letter is a draft: check it against your agreements before you send it.
